Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant helps fulfill the mission of Transform Minnesota; to connect and equip the Church, by providing operations and administrative support. This is primarily done through a variety of clerical activities and office tasks.

REPORTS TO:

• Chief Operating Officer

DIRECT REPORTS:

• None

STATUS & COMPENSATION:

• Full-time position (32 hour/week)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be the first point of contact for general Transform Minnesota inquiries; email, web and telephone
• Assist in correspondence, communication documentation and presentation preparation
• Assist with preparing information, maintaining documentation and coordinating meetings for Transform Minnesota Board of Directors
• Manage calendar appointments and meetings for the CEO and COO
• Serve as an administrative resource for Transform Minnesota events and programs
• Coordinate Transform Minnesota staff events and celebrations
• Assist with monthly financial processes; bank and credit card reconciliation
• Assist in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
• Mail donation receipt letters and invoices
• Update and correct donor information in multiple database systems
• Enter and manage Transform Minnesota event registration data in the Abila database system

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative position
• Competency and experience with Microsoft Office and internet based programs
• Experience with database systems preferred
• Highly detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills; both verbal and written
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with multiple deadlines
• Ability to respond to changing priorities
