Operations Manager

The Operations Manager helps fulfill the mission of Transform Minnesota; to connect and equip the Church, by overseeing the administrative and operations activities of Transform Minnesota and the affiliate ministries. This is primarily done through managing human resources practices, building operations and technology.

STATUS & COMPENSATION
40 hour/week, full time position. FT benefit eligible.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Human Resources
Oversee hiring and onboarding process for Transform MN and affiliates, training hiring managers and improving processes to accommodate growth.

Evaluate compensation and benefit packages, oversee payroll processing, and coordinate annual renewals for medical, dental and 403(b) plans.

Process payroll in ADP as necessary.

Manage personnel policies and compliance tracking in coordination with the COO providing education to staff and managers on policy practices.

Operations, Insurance and Technology
Manage insurance policies, insurance audits, OSHA & workers compensation requirements and reporting. Respond to risks on property, liability, or other insurance coverages.

Manage annual renewals and organizational registrations; ECFA, State of Minnesota.

Manage landlord/lease negotiations, building agreements, maintenance contracts, tenant leases and building projects or remodels.

Manage policies and procedures for building usage, scheduling, and office space assignments.

Manage building safety, security, door locks and key assignments.

Evaluate technology changes in equipment, vendor, contractors, and maintain day-to-day technology systems and equipment.

Set up new employee technology; computers, telephones, email and respond to troubleshooting requests.

Oversee and manage CRM system implementation and updates.

Team Leadership for Supervised Staff
Manage workflow and task assignments, troubleshooting work and project related issues in collaboration with the COO when necessary.

Strategize development opportunities.

Provide regular feedback on performance and accomplishments and conduct annual performance reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS

3-5 years of experience in human resources and operations.

Solid knowledge of industry practices and regulations in human resources.

Demonstrated ability to create and implement new policies and procedures in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills to understand and respond to emerging needs, concerns, or challenges in a team environment.

Solid project management abilities to coordinate staff and contractor capabilities, attend to details and manage timelines and outcomes.

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to assess situations and determine the necessary response.
