This half-day leadership gathering is designed to equip pastors and church leaders to disciple these brothers and sisters well—helping them grow in faithful obedience while navigating complex questions of identity and sexuality.  \nThis event features teaching from Art Pereira\, Director of Ministries and Events for Revoice. As a same-sex attracted man committed to celibacy due to his biblical convictions\, Art will lead our dialogue with lived experience\, offering us practical experience. Attendees will also hear testimonies and reflections from multiple Christians who experience same-sex attraction and have found meaningful discipleship and belonging in churches committed to biblical teaching. Having spent a decade working in local church youth ministry\, Art has a passion for dynamic discipleship and accessible teaching. \n  \n  \n  \nKavan Rogness | Discipleship Director\, Faith Covenant Church\n \nKavan Rogness is passionate about helping people engage deeply with Scripture\, serving as Discipleship Director at Faith Covenant Church in Burnsville\, MN since 2021. With a diverse professional background spanning construction\, IT\, education\, healthcare\, and food service\, he brings rich life experience to ministry. Holding an MA in communication studies and an MDiv\, Kavan authored the novel God’s Other Children in 2023. As a side B Christian who came out in 2014\, he has experienced significant personal healing and growth. Committed to social causes\, he raises money for clean water through marathon running with Team World Vision\, sharing hope and transformation through his unique perspective.  \n  \n  \nRev. Michelle Sanchez Th.M. | Executive Director\, Revoice \nMichelle Sanchez has served in full-time ministry for over a decade in campus\, local church\, and national denominational settings. As former Executive Minister of Make and Deepen Disciples for the Evangelical Covenant Church\, she launched Embrace\, a suite of resources on Christian discipleship and human sexuality. A graduate of NYU (B.S. International Business) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M.Div.\, Th.M.)\, Michelle has also trained in spiritual direction at Boston College and studied the life of Jesus at Jerusalem University College. \nShe is the author of Color-Courageous Discipleship (and companion editions) and a frequent conference speaker whose work has appeared in Outreach Magazine\, Faith & Leadership\, and more.
