You will be able to select “lunch” or “no lunch” when you register. \n \n  \nTransform Minnesota is proud to announce our partnership with the American Bible Society to bring Bible-based trauma healing to the Twin Cities. \nAmerican Bible Society partners with local churches by equipping them to respond to the suffering and trauma in their communities using the Trauma Healing Institute’s program model and materials. \nTrauma Healing Convening Session: \nTrauma knows no boundaries of nationality\, gender\, age\, social class or race. We all live in a fallen world and groan inwardly from the painful consequences of the fall. The church is uniquely called to this mission field. It provides a theology for suffering\, a community bound together in love\, access to a God who is willing to hear our honest laments\, and a Savior who knows what unjust suffering feels like and whose death on the cross heals the broken-hearted and forgives their sins.  \nA Convening session is designed intended for top church and organizational leaders to gain a high-level overview of the Trauma Healing program\, learn how the Trauma Healing Initiative is meeting the need for trauma healing in the church\, and what having a trauma healing ministry at your church would look like.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row ct_row_stretch=””][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”75px”]\n \n \n \n Speaker\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n Registration\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n Location\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n [vc_column_text]\nSPEAKERS \n \nMARLAINA CENTENO |  TRAUMA HEALING – CHURCH PARTNERSHIPS WITH AMERICAN BIBLE SOCIETY \nMinutes into meeting Marlaina\, you’ll see that she radiates deep joy (she will warn you about her loud laugh). She is an intuitive leader with a keen ability to draw people in\, listen to and understand people from all walks of life. \nGod has given Marlaina a wide array of skills and experiences that she now uses to help hurting people encounter the healing love of Christ. Marlaina has worked with American Bible Society in the Trauma Healing department for nearly 5 years where she manages national church partnerships. Her work involves inviting churches and organizations to experience how the Trauma Healing program can equip churches to help those that are suffering in their communities.    \nBorn and raised in Philadelphia\, Marlaina now lives in New Jersey with her three children. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n \nRACHEL UTHMANN |  TRAUMA HEALING FACILITATOR WITH AMERICAN BIBLE SOCIETY \nRachel’s 20 years of work with refugees and other displaced people in Europe and North America has given her a passion for caring well for people who have survived deep pain and loss.
