Workplace diversity is critical to a healthy organization. Not only are internal teams strengthened, but the surrounding results and relationships are broadened. Yet, achieving workplace diversity can be challenging. This often stems from a lack of awareness about biases that exist within organizational or team cultures. 

Increasing inclusion and diversity extends beyond hiring practices and requires intentionality in developing awareness, empathy, and solidarity. 

Join us as we learn how to better foster a workplace where differences are recognized, celebrated, and valued.

Nina Barnes | University of Northwestern – St. Paul

Nina is a certified spiritual director with a passion for creating space for others to discern and
respond to invitations from God. Through her practice, Invitation To Transformation, Nina
considers it an honor to help others experience love, hope, redemption, and transformation.

Nina currently serves as the Vice President for Student Life at University of Northwestern- St. Paul.
She has extensive human resources experience, stemming from 20+ years of service within a
variety of organizational settings. Nina has a Master’s degree in Spiritual Formation & Leadership;
along with a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries.

Outside of work, Nina desires to make a meaningful impact as she serves as a board member of two
Twin Cities ministries, and in her most cherished role as mother to an adult son and “daughter-in-love”.

Cancellation Policy
We are able to refund your ticket up to two weeks prior to the event if you send an email to hailey@transformmn.org. After the two weeks, we are unable to refund any ticket due to workshop demand and materials that have already purchased for your spot at the workshop. If you are unable to attend regardless, please let us know as a courtesy at least 48 hours before the event begins. Tickets are transferable to another attendee, but not to a different date.
