One Fund. One Year. One Million Dollars.
The African American community in the Twin Cities is facing extensive physical, emotional, and spiritual trauma surrounding the death of George Floyd and the disproportionate effects of COVID-19. The Black Church is vital in meeting the needs of its community and remains a crucial bridge of hope and care–now for an overwhelming number of hurting people.
Transform Minnesota has partnered with Linc Twin Cities, Hope United CDC, and the Pilgrim Center for Reconciliation to form The One Fund to support the work of local African American churches and ministries who, due to historic inequities, are disproportionately affected by the recent crises in our Twin Cities. Many pastors and leaders serving in their communities are bi-vocational. Many have lost their jobs and funding for essential broader community programming.
Our goal is to raise $250,000 by June 30th, and a total of $1,000,000 by the anniversary of George Floyd’s death (May 25th, 2021). By God’s grace we have already received over $100,000 in gifts and pledges. Will you help us reach our goal? You can make a financial gift electronically here. Or you can mail a donation to The One Fund:

The One Fund is hosted at the National Christian Foundation–Twin Cities (more information below). Grant-making decisions are made by a panel of five Fund Advisors listed on the One Fund website: Rev. Billy Russell, Rev. Richard Coleman, Schelli Cronk, Pastor Laurel Bunker, and Rev. Matthew St. John.
In supporting this fund, you support these churches, and the communities they serve. Together we can move towards rebuilding and restoring our cities through the Church. Will you partner alongside Twin Cities churches to ensure they can continue providing critical life-giving spiritual needs specific to their community
