This Engaging in the LGBTQ Conversation evening seminar with Dr. Preston Sprinkle is designed to be a place for Christians to lean into the hard questions and the conversation surrounding the LGBTQ community. This event will equip young adults, parents and lay-leaders to better understand and respond to LGBTQ persons in love while holding their biblical view of sexuality, gender identity, and marriage.

Dr. Preston Sprinkle will lay a relational and theological foundation for how Christ-followers should engage the LGBTQ conversation, including:

• Introduction and the Grace/Truth Way of Jesus

• Theology of Marriage and Same Sex Relations

• Can Christians Truly Love LGBT+ People without Changing their Theology?

• The Importance of Language and Terms

PRESTON SPRINKLE | PRESIDENT OF THE CENTER FOR FAITH, GENDER AND SEXUALITY

Transform Minnesota believes that the starting point for understanding human sexuality is to recognize that all people are created in the image of God with gender and with sexual desires.

Anchored to Biblical teaching that God’s intent for full sexual expression is between a married man and woman, we seek to help followers of Jesus live according to God-given boundaries in sexual holiness.

Regarding marriage, we hold to the Biblical orthodox teaching that marriage is between a man and a woman. (See board resolution).
