In a country deeply divided by partisan allegiances, Christians must unite around a vision for civic engagement that embraces principles derived from scripture rather than party ideology. By elevating biblical principles, we can rise above bitter discourse and division to unite for the flourishing of our society.
Many are facing exhaustion from the volatility of previous election cycles and wondering whether they should continue to pay attention or attempt to engage. It is because of this reality that we must rest in and rely on the strength of Christ as we continue to move forward with courage and courtesy in his name.
As the kingdom of God breaks into the world, Christians are called to engage in public life. We do not do this to battle our culture or assert our power, but because we care about the things God cares for and the things that affect our neighbors. By recognizing the role faith plays in our public life, we can unite under agreed biblical principles even when we disagree on specific policies or directions.
Join us as Justin Giboney and Kaitlyn Schiess lead us in building a biblical approach to political engagement with compassion and conviction. Additional speakers will help us work through a biblical approach to numerous issues, including:
– Sanctity of life & human dignity
– Immigration
– Racial justice
– Religious freedom
– and more!
