As Christian leaders, you are tasked to model civil discourse in ways that are not often seen in our culture today. Even in ministry settings, we know the ability to facilitate crucial conversations and find conflict resolution does not come easily.

 

This interactive and practical Conflict Management workshop aims to provide tangible ways to address crucial conversations in the workplace. Gain practical skills for addressing conflict respectfully when interacting with staff, colleagues and other leaders.

 

Learn how to create an environment of respect and value that allows for unique differences, personalities, and ideas from the people we work with, including:

1. A conflict management model that offers a practical framework for participants to apply with others.

2. Common ways we often respond and feel when presented with misunderstandings.

3. Best conversation practices for real ministry scenarios.

JONATHAN STUART  |  WORKING BETTER 2GETHER

Jonathan specializes in facilitating learning for business and educational purposes. He has 20 years of experience working in higher education teaching on subjects ranging from leadership, cultural competence, and well-being. Dr. Stuart was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of San Carlos in Guatemala, and was also a 2015 recipient of the MN Colleges and Universities Excellence in Teaching Award.

He offers mediation services through the Dispute Resolution Center and helps facilitate for the Pilgrim Center for Reconciliation. His education background includes an M.A. in Human Resource Development & Adult Education and a PhD in Organizational Leadership both from the University of Minnesota
