How does our preaching and presentation of the Gospel stay true to scripture while speaking to the felt need of each generation?
Each generation has a unique approach to how they view the world. These differences have implications for the Church as we continue the work of spreading the Gospel.
Approaches to evangelism that answered the questions of previous generations are not answering the questions of millennials and Gen Z. While the Gospel stays the same, we must adjust our approach and learn to provide a contextual message.
Join Transform Minnesota and New Hope Church on September 21 as we learn more about adjusting our Gospel presentation from Rev. Dr. James Choung. Dr. Choung, the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, has spent years researching what each generation values and the central gospel question that each generation seeks to answer.

Rev. Dr. James Choung serves as the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation for InterVarsity. Dr. Choung is also ordained with the Vineyard USA, and has written three books: Longing for Revival: From Holy Discontent to Breakthrough Faith, Real Life: A Christianity Worth Living Out, and True Story: A Christianity Worth Believing In. Dr. Choung has presented at the Transform Minnesota board retreat in the past, and we are excited to hear from him again.
