Love, Rights, and Values: An Evening with Christian Ethicist Oliver O’Donovan

Wednesday, June 287:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Cost: Free

Mill City Church

As our politics descends further into mutual incomprehension, can theology still shed fresh light on the meaning of political life? How do the challenge of God’s law and the promise of the gospel challenge the quest for autonomy that dominates modern society?

Join us for a free lecture and conversation with Oliver O’Donovan, one of the world’s pre-eminent Christian ethicists, as he shares deep wisdom for Christian faithfulness from years of service at the intersection of the church and the university. After the lecture, Chris Ganski, Pastor of City Reformed Church in Milwaukee, will interview Prof. O’Donovan about some of the wider challenges of Christian witness and faithful citizenship facing the church today.

This event is being co-sponsored by The Center for Pastor Theologians, The Davenant Institute, Bethlehem College & Seminary, and Anselm House.
