One of the greatest challenges facing the church today is how to engage with and nourish faith in LGBT+ persons. Against a backdrop of decades of perceived religious mistreatment of LGBT+ persons, the pressure to love people well is collapsing theological beliefs. This is unbiblical: we can fully honor God and radically love people simultaneously. 

Through a biblically sound, missiological approach to LGBT+ outreach and care, Posture Shift presents a way forward for the conservative church.

Join Transform Minnesota and Posture Shift for a 2-Day Intensive Course on November 2 & 3. This workshop is geared toward pastors and ministry leaders who hold to a biblical sexual ethic and want to implement practical, tangible, biblically-sound ministry to LGBT+ persons and their families.

BILL HENSON  |  FOUNDER & PRESIDENT OF POSTURE SHIFT

Bill Henson founded Posture Shift Ministries, Inc. in 2006. Our ministry is writing a new church history to ensure that Christian communities of faith and homes are safe for LGBT+ family and friends. Bill is creator of Posture Shift and author of Guiding Families. Posture Shift is a credentialed missional training curriculum on LGBT+ inclusion and care. Over 100,000 church, school and youth leaders have experienced Posture Shift across the globe. Guiding Families is a best practice relational care plan that Bill wrote after working with thousands of families and LGBT+ youth. Safe churches and homes allow LGBT+ people to grow in trusting and knowing Jesus Christ. The board and teaching staff of Posture Shift Ministries, Inc. hold to a traditional biblical view.

FAQ

I registered for the event, and now I am unable to attend, can I get a refund?  Can I give my ticket to a co-worker or friend?

For cancellation requests at least thirty (30) calendar days before the registered PSM Event, you will receive a FULL refund except for the $25 per-ticket non-refundable deposit. NO REFUNDS are available on cancellations less than thirty (30) days before PSM Events.  Once you have received your badge on-site, it cannot be changed, substituted, or reissued to a different person. If you would like your registration transferred to someone else, please contact Posture Shift.

 

Is it okay to just come to one day of the intensive?

We highly encourage you to make time to come to both days, as day two builds on the teaching from day one.  

What should I bring?

We encourage you to bring a notebook, pen, and a colleague.

Do I have to register now or can I do it at the door?

You must register in advance, and agree to the Posture Shift Intensive Terms and Conditions as outlined on their registration page.

Will Lunch be provided?
Snacks, coffee & lunch will be provided on both days.  You will be able to let us know of your dietary restrictions at the time of registration.  Please be aware that while we will do our best to provide snacks & meals that are gluten sensitive if you have other allergies, please feel free to bring your food.

Will childcare be provided?

No, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate childcare for this event.  No one under the age of 18, including children accompanied by parent or guardians, will be admitted.
