Transform Minnesota is thrilled to announce Reexamining Sexuality – Reformatted! In August we will present Reexamining Sexuality in a one day conference.

 

This conference will help us reexamine our sexuality by looking at the character and nature of God. We will then explore what it means to be created in the image of God, leading to a healthy view of our own sexuality identity and God’s design for sex. This one day conference will offer great conversations for pastors, church leaders and youth pastors as they work to maintain and teach a healthy view of sex.

 

Becky Patton, the founder of Truessence ministry, will engage in the deeper questions of how we view God affects how we honor ourselves and others. We will explore the physical and spiritual nature of sexual desire, sexual struggle, and the gift of intimacy in sexual engagement.

 

The one day conference is composed of three sections:

1st: Imago Dei: Re-examining our view of God

2nd: Created in the Image of God: Re-examining ourselves

3rd: Healthy Sexuality Identity: Re-examining our view of sexuality

This training will take place at Elim Church.

Elim Church is located in the heart of the NE Minneapolis Arts District, which is situated between highways 94 and 35w north of the river from down town. Elim is one block north of Broadway St. NE and two blocks west of Central Ave.

Parking | Visitor parking is in located at the church’s main parking lot north of the building off Madison Street. Otherwise street parking is open on Madison and 13th Avenue around Logan Park. The main entrance to Elim is on Madison St under the brick pergola that extends over the sidewalk. Greeters will be there to welcome you!
