On April 3, 1968, the evening prior to his assassination, Dr. King gave his famous “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop” sermon at Mason Temple (Church of God in Christ Headquarters) in Memphis. As we mark the 50th anniversary of Dr. King’s death, we gather as the Christian faith community under the leadership of the Historic Black Church with support from Catholic, Evangelical and Mainline Protestant denominations to declare that The Dream Continues.
