TRAUMA HEALING ADVANCED FACILITATOR TRAINING

This event has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.

*To be eligible to attend participants must already have attended an Initial Facilitator Training, helped facilitate at least two healing groups, and submitted reports to the Trauma Healing Institute.

The Advanced Facilitator Training builds upon the skills of those who have already attended an Initial Facilitator Training and completed their practicum (leading at least two healing groups). By the end of this session, trainers will be more confident in their use and understanding of the materials and be better able to solve program issues arising in trauma healing as they carry out their ministries. Participants who have the necessary competencies will be certified as Healing Group Facilitators or Training Facilitators at the end of the advanced session.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Have previously been certified as an Apprentice Facilitator, helped facilitate at least two healing groups, and submitted reports to the Trauma Healing Institute
  • Able to attend all sessions of the training (certification will only be considered for those who attend all sessions)
  • Able to receive feedback from peers and mentors
  • Able to teach others, manage own well-being, work on a team, and lead groups in a participatory way

Only those who attend all sessions can be considered for certification as a Healing Group Facilitator or Training Facilitator. Certification is not guaranteed.
