Communications Coordinator
The Communications Coordinator collaborates closely with our President, COO, and Program Team to develop content and curate resources, manage communication activities, tools, and platforms, and participate in program and resource development to achieve our mission.

Part-time (20-24 hours), Flexible Schedule, Hybrid Allowed
Pay rate range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on qualifications

Position Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Create written, graphic and video content in collaboration with other team members to communicate programs, events, or resources offered by Transform Minnesota, and other messaging related to its mission.
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement communication workplans to promote Transform Minnesota program and event activities, and strategies to expand and reach our audience.
- Manage Tools and Platforms: Post and manage content on multiple platforms: websites, social media, and email distribution systems; oversee subscriber contact databases; gather a track data used to monitor communication effectiveness.
- Curate Resources: Generate and curate additional content and resources to equip leaders in our network.
- Manage Newsletters: Create, curate and manage content for digital and print newsletters; create and manage monthly digital newsletter delivery; develop and layout bi-annual print newsletter and oversee printing and direct mail processes.
- Event Reporting: Attend various internal or external events to capture content or resources to communicate to our network; gather quotes, conduct interviews, and take photos or videos.
- Advance our Mission: Participate in weekly staff and team meetings; embrace the mission, vision and core values of Transform Minnesota and our Affiliate Ministries; assist with other assignments that advance our mission.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, design, or related subject preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience performing responsibilities related to this role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience posting and managing content on websites and in electronic newsletter platforms
- Experience in graphic design (i.e. InDesign, Illustrator, Canva) preferred.
- Experience with social media management; Facebook, Instagram
- Experience in a digital work environment, utilizing tools such as email, shared calendars, file management systems, documents, spreadsheets, CRM tools, and web platforms.
