January 2015 through April 2015: Missions training-Perspectives on the World Christian Movement
Sponsor: First Evangelical Free Church of Maplewood
What: This 15 week class meets once a week for 3 hours (students can choose which location and night of the week they prefer) and provides an opportunity for people to learn more about missions. Each week a different pastor from around North America comes and teaches. Students look at the biblical mandate for missions, history of missions, and how missionaries can effectively work cross culturally and strategically. While many students are young and sense a calling to the mission field, all ages are welcome and you don’t have to be a missionary to benefit greatly from the course.
When: Tuesday nights (January 20th through April 28th) 6:30 pm- 9:00 pm
Thursday nights (January 22nd through April 30th) 6:30 pm- 9:00 pm
Where: Stadium Village Church on the U of M campus (Tuesday nights)
First Evangelical Free Church of Maplewood (Thursday nights)
Cost: $235 and classes are free the first two weeks
