June 13: Stop the Trafficking 5K walk/run
Human Trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery where people profit from the control and exploitation of others. It is considered to be one of the fastest growing criminal industries in the world. Our cities are personally affected by human trafficking including the sexual exploitation of children. The average age a child enters prostitution in the United States is 12- 14 years old and at least 100,000 children are exploited every year within our borders.
