The One Fund: Supporting Immigrant Churches

Transform Minnesota has re-launched The One Fund to provide emergency financial support to immigrant churches in Minnesota. First created by community leaders in 2020, at that time the One Fund raised and distributed nearly $1 Million to Black-led churches in the wake of unrest following George Floyd’s murder.

Across Minnesota, immigrant families in our churches and communities are suffering, fearful and facing urgent needs. Many are afraid to leave their homes. Families have been separated, and households have lost income through detention, inability to go to work, or business slowdowns driven by fear and enforcement activity.

The One Fund provides emergency financial support to immigrant churches and ministries in Minnesota as they meet urgent needs of immigrant families, especially those who are lawfully present, in mixed-status households, or otherwise vulnerable, and whose livelihoods have been disrupted by intensified immigration enforcement.

Donations to the One Fund are held in a designated account at the National Christian Foundation Twin Cities. Visit www.onefundmn.org to make contributions online or get mail-in instructions.
