February 21: Six Ways to Implement a Whole-Life Discipleship Making Church

Sponsors: Bethel Seminary’s Work with Purpose Initiative, Made to Flourish Pastors’ Network, CrossWinds Community Church, Anselm House, The London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC), and Vere Institute

What: What would happen if our churches were places that envisioned, equipped, encouraged, and empowered people to be fruitful in the places where they find themselves during the week?

Join Neil Hudson, author of Imagine Church and Imagine project director from The London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC), and Chris Lake, executive director of the Vere Institute in Boston, for an interactive workshop exploring the vision and journey of churches toward whole-life discipleship.

Through teachings and group discussion, discover six practical ways your church can move forward with a renewed vision. Examine not only the biblical foundations of whole-life discipleship, but also receive helpful tools that have been applied in churches of various sizes and denominations in the U.K. and more recently in the U.S. Hear from a panel of local pastors on how they are implementing these concepts. And get a framework for moving forward along with suggestions to consider as you apply these principles in your own unique context.

To increase the impact of this workshop, we strongly encourage leaders to bring at least one additional attendee from their own church. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided.
