ENGAGING GENERATIONS THROUGH GENEROSITY

An Interactive Workshop Experience for Church Leaders

Engaging Generations through Generosity provides insight into how Christians really feel about generosity, and ways to disciple and engage all generations through generosity.

This workshop is a discussion-based learning experience for pastors to explore findings from The Generosity Gap research conducted by Barna, commissioned by Thrivent Financial.

The religious and economic landscapes are changing in America in ways that don’t necessarily favor churches. The percentage of churchgoing Christians is shrinking. Work patterns are shifting. And on top that, not everyone seems to agree on what it means to be generous.

If churches and faith-based organizations are to survive and adapt to this changing reality, pastors and Christian leaders need both accurate information and wisdom for applying reliable data to their particular church context.

Engaging Generations through Generosity will help pastors understand today, strategize for the future and dream up fresh tactical ideas for how to connect Christians’ heart, mind and soul with their potential giving strength.

This original church-focused research will explore:

  • Who is generous?
  • How are they generous?
  • Why does generosity not show up in the lives of some people?
  • How do different generations express generosity?
  • Why this matters in your church context?

This workshop will expand your vision for engaging and discipling all generations within your church community, plus access to a handful of resources to help you develop a great culture of generosity.
