Grant Writing for Faith-based Nonprofits

Grant Writing for Faith-based Nonprofits
Thursday, April 30, 8:30 – 11:00 a.m.

Hosted by Transform Minnesota and The Barnabas Group, this workshop is tailored specifically for faith-based organizations to help them identify grant opportunities that fit their mission, and learn strategies for communicating their faith-based programs to secular grant makers.

Understanding how to effectively write grants is a useful tool for a non-profit. Also, comprehending all the components involved in seeking a grant, is equally important. Join us as we walk through the following information:

  • The landscape of grants in Minnesota and grants for evangelical organizations.
  • How to seek funding by navigating the research, relationships, and information.
  • The components of a grant and how to position your evangelical organization or program.
  • Realistic ways to make grant development a part of your non-profit.

As a follow up to this session, it is  our hope to offer an additional in-depth grant training that would explore the specific details within each grant component. Please let us know if you are interested in this training and we will be sure to make you aware of the event.
