Pastors Invited to Lift Up Jesus at New US Bank Stadium

US Bank Stadium hosted its first concerts this weekend from country star Luke Bryan and heavy-metal band Metallica. Nearly 50,000 people came out to see the Twin Cities newest, largest stadium turned into a concert venue, before the Vikings host their first home game in September.

Can you imagine if 50,000+ people inside US Bank Stadium were worshiping our Lord and King Jesus Christ?
What if the 1 billion dollar football stadium was turned into a house of prayer for an entire weekend?

Diverse Network 2 smallerThat’s what Pulse wants to see for the 2018 UNITE – to fill the US Bank stadium with people lifting up the name of Jesus.

“This is something where the capital C – Church can catch the attention of the world and say, ‘Come see how we are lifting up the name of Jesus at US Bank Stadium,'” said Pastor Rob Ketterling, lead pastor of River Valley Church.

Pulse is casting this vision of hosting this large worship and outreach event, but they need the partnership of hundreds of Minnesota pastoral teams.

On September 29, 2016 Pastor Rob Ketterling of River Valley, Bishop Richard Howell of Shiloh Temple International Ministries, and Pastor Dave Gibson of Grace Church are inviting pastoral teams to come together for lunch, prayer and worship in preparation for UNITE 2018 at US Bank Stadium’s Hyundai Room.

“These prayer meetings will be a great way for the body of Christ in Minnesota to come together in unity as we prayerfully build-up to this exciting weekend of filling US Bank stadium with the transformative presence and power of Jesus,” said Carl Nelson, president of Transform Minnesota.

Leading up to UNITE in May 2018, there will be more pastors prayer events scheduled to cover the stadium in prayer.

“Catch the vision with us. This is big,” said Pastor Ketterling.
