New Life Celebrates Sanctity of Human Life Month
To kick off Sanctity of Human Life month, we asked our affiliate New Life Family Services to tell us a little more about their work and the importance of a holistic pro-life ethic.
January is Sanctity of Human Life Month! Since 1984, churches across America have dedicated January to celebrating the sanctity of all human lives and promoting holistically pro-life values. At New Life Family Services, we recognize that life-affirming decisions need support. We treat every person as an image-bearer of God, recognizing their inherent dignity and worth. Each person who walks through our doors receives the physical, emotional, and spiritual support to face what often seems impossible.
Our goal is that families would not only choose life, but would live life abundantly. Our work does not revolve only around “saving a baby,” as is the common accusation against pregnancy centers. Rather, our work spans pregnancy and beyond. This includes:
- Helping mothers and fathers build healthy relationships and families.
- Providing adoption services to birth families and adoptive parents.
- Providing a safe space for men and women to work through abortion experiences and find healing.
- Supporting families through practical struggles while nurturing their spiritual development.
This month, we invite you and your church to embrace the values of abundant life. Whatever happens in the political world, our role as Christians remains constant: to uphold the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception, and to provide the holistic support that makes abortion completely unthinkable and unnecessary.
